Mutation of Omphalys
Like a snake, so too Towers. Mutate and change. Sometimes the roots are too bound to change, while upper levels like consciousness are easier to affect.

Omphalys: Part 2
Some towers build themselves. And so Artraus. Three towers, one in many respects but so different. Apparently arising from different roots, these Towers grew into a mountain range. Colliding through spiritual force, they manifested a latent design, a design imminent in all beings.
The Dark Tower resurrected itself as an ominous platform for the bloods rites of the oligarchs. Fire burns eternal on the corners illuminating the causal walkways to the Manifest Directory. This Tower emerged independent of the Dark Tower and contains a mix of energy from both the White Tower and the Dark Tower. From time and growth, the darker energies of the Dark Tower pushed the white light from this middle tower, even truncating the third tower, the White Tower. This middle tower culminates in the Manifest Directory. This structure is a small enclosed vestibule from which the objects of sacrifice emerge. A barred door on one side prohibits escape but allows a view of the White Tower. The Sacrificial Object can view the beauty of the White Tower and its Hanging Garden but never can touch or experience it. Instead the Sacrificial Object walks away from the barred door through an archway across to the platform.
Interestingly, at the base of the Towers, all separate, only two points of access. Two doors. You may enter the Middle Tower of mixed dark and light or you may enter the White Tower. The Dark Tower remains inaccessible. And as we all know, the only way to raze a structure is from the inside.
How do you get inside the Dark Tower? You must be the Sacrificial Object and through alchemical process, you may enter the Dark Tower.
Rebellion is useless. These towers emanate from the earth, from the core of this rock. Unmovable as mountains. And while you may desire to raze this structure to the ground out of hatred and disgust and fear, you must change it, not raze it. For this energy is powerful, amoeba-like and massive, the dark energy can be harnessed, directed, integrated. Never an easy task as it will control you without you knowing. You will think that you are doing this and that, but you never question and then never realize that the origin of your thoughts and deeds come from this Dark Tower.
If you realize this, you immediately turn to anger or fear. And you cry or beat your fists against its impenetrable walls. This only feeds the Tower and you ignore this, forgetting as always that the Tower is alive. You always forget that it is living. Then you make the biggest mistake, you assume the Tower is static, an unmovable force - one that no axe or sword or hammer will bring down. So you succumb to it. Sleep. So you stumble into the archway of the Middle Tower to sleep.
And you awake in the Manifest Directory.
The question is whether you will go screaming to the sacrifice or will you embrace the descent, this time knowing what needs to be done. Knowing that some way, you will make it to the Hanging Garden.
